What is the difference between meditation and breathwork?
Meditation is wonderful for self reflection but also keeps us in our minds. It can be a slow and steady practice to shift our perspective. Meditation we can pay attention to body awareness, but do not alter our body chemistry like we do in breathwork.
Breathwork can be easier for immediate results and a great tool to pull out when you are overwhelmed,stressed, or off center. It is scientifically proven when we deepen our breath we will also feel body sensations that will leave us feeling better due to changes in our oxygen and endorphin levels.
How long before I see results?
Scientifically proven immediate results. I can guide you to sustainability. Energy moves easier with experience and removal of stagnant energy so no two sessions are the same.
Is breathwork safe?
Breathwork is generally safe and worth a try for most people. I have never had nor ever heard of ANY complications myself or any practitioners. It is encouraged to talk to your doctor if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure or any major health conditions. It is contraindicated for epilepsy and individuals on anti-psychotics.
